Atlanta Chevy Dealer 2014 Camaro

As a Chevy dealer in Atlanta we couldn’t be more excited. At the recent New York Auto Show, Chevrolet introduced its new line-up of 2014 Camaros. But that’s not all. They really brought the show to its feet when they surprised everyone with the reintroduction of the legendary Z/28.

Let’s take a look at the new line of Camaros and a little closer look at the Z/28.

The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro shows off its muscles with a wider, lower profile. The front and rear ends have a more angular appearance which helps define its retro-modern appearance. New lighting adds to the more contemporary look, including LED daytime running lights and rectangular taillights.

You want a distinctive look? The 2014 Camaro comes with a wide selection of wheel options, each of which brings their own personality to the table. The 2014 Camaro’s are distinctive and have a road-ready style to them.

Inside, drivers will have the option of choosing front Recaro sport seats. These body hugging seats keep you strapped in snuggly for the drive that awaits you. The interior of the Camaro maintains many of the popular, innovative changes that were made for last year’s model including the frameless rearview mirror and the touch screen Chevy MyLink display.

Of course you can’t talk Camaro without talking about the engine availability. The 2014 Camaro comes with a 3.6 liter, direct injection V-6 as standard. This engine delivers 323 horsepower. The SS Edition has an even more powerful 6.2 liter V-8 that can deliver up to 426 horsepower.

So what about the Z/28? Well, it amazes me how a big company like Chevrolet can keep a secret like the Z/28. When the iconic Camaro was re-introduced, the room burst into cheers and applause. The original Camaro Z/28 was introduced in 1967 as a track-ready car. Performance was so critical that the ’67 edition didn’t come with air conditioning or an automatic transmission. The re-inspired Z/28 has made a concession on the air conditioning, but the Z/28 still only offers a 6 speed manual transmission.

Chevy has used engineering and technology to trim 300 lbs. off of the ZL1, providing a marked improvement in handling for the Z/28. Its powerful 7.0 liter, V-8 engine will pull you into your seat with over 500 horsepower. The Z/28 is staying true to its track-ready roots.

Your Chevy car dealer in Newnan will be pleased to be offering these impressive automobiles sometime later this year. Be sure to check back with More Miles with Mader and Southtowne for details!
