2015 Cadillac Escalade

Things are looking up for the newest edition of the Cadillac Escalade. All new for the 2015 year are the newest technology features and an upscale look that makes it seem more ‘grown up.’ Many have said this is the quietest version they have ever made. There will be no more fussing with adjusting the back row seating either. Even the third row seating has been adapted to be completely automated which allows drivers to lower the seats at the push of a button.

Another of the new exterior features of the upcoming SUV are the head and taillights. The headlights are adorned with 17 light emitting diodes. The taillights are also twice as tall and have 29 LEDs each. The paneling around the vehicle even catches and reflects bits of light for a one-of-a-kind look that no Escalade previously has had.

Aside from all of the sleek and sophisticated styling on the outside, the newest full-size SUV packs a powerful punch with a huge 6.2L V8 engine that cranks out 420 horsepower. This is the most powerful engine in the line-up to date and is projected to be 10 percent more fuel efficient. The new Escalade will also have an adjustable Magnetic Ride Control suspension system that comes standard.

The interior has been said to compete with the Range Rover. The doors are tripled sealed and flushed into the body’s side to reduce wind noise and improve aerodynamics. There is also thicker glass in the rear window along with acoustic glass in the windshield and more insulation under the carpet to block out vehicle noise. There is more cargo space as well since the third row completely folds into the vehicle.

Cadillac’s CUE system comes standard on this SUV which is operated by a large touchscreen in the center console. They have even improved the touchscreen responsiveness of the CUE system by 25 percent. There are many other features to this vehicle that come together to give you one of the most gorgeous interiors in the industry. It has real leather that has been cut and sewn by leather workers, veneers that were shaved by wood workers and more.

If you need any other reason to check out the 2015 Cadillac Escalade, you will have to come down to SouthTowne Motors to see for yourself. They are expected to arrive in the Spring of 2014.
