Atlanta Car Dealer: Getting Mold Out Of Your Interior

This is really bad.

Summer is coming and the temperatures are rising. It’s the perfect conditions for mold to grow inside your hot car. Your Atlanta GM dealer, the Southtowne General Motors Superstore has cleaned many cars with a persistent mold problem. So here’s the scenario, you have this odor, you may think it’s mold, but aren’t sure (spoiled alert: it’s mold). Even though you clean out and vacuum the inside of your car in regular intervals, that odor still lingers.  What do you do? How do you remove it? Here’s the bad news, not only does mold cause a bad odor in your car, it can also be bad for your health, especially if you have mold based allergies.  While keeping your upholstery clean is a good way to prevent mold from forming, it may not be enough to completely stop it from taking over your car.  Well, the good news is that if you have a mold problem, there is a cheap and easy solution to it that you can do from home.

The video below will show you how to cure your car of mold.

Like the video says, you may get a weird smell from the vinegar, but that will dissipate in a few days leaving your car mold free for the foreseeable future.  Of course, anyplace there is liquid and heat, you have the potential for mold building bacteria. Don’t spill anything in your Atlanta car, or else you will be up to your eyeballs in mold. Not a pretty sight.

If you have any further questions on how to remove mold form your Atlanta GMC, just give Southtowne a call. We can help.
