So You Think You Can Dance

On August 7, 2015, Heather Wayne’s Performing Arts and Dance Academy are offering classes. The intermediate class for children from 8 to 12 years of age is $100 per hour and the advanced class, for those 13 years and older, is $150 for an hour and a half. Classes are Mia Michaels Master Classes. Since space is limited, you’ll need to reserve a spot. The classes are going to be held at 5370 Thompson Mill Road, Hoschton, Georgia, 30548. The Grand Columbus Whitewater Paddle

Head over to Columbus, Georgia to enjoy a day of whitewater paddling. The day is hosted by Whitewater Express, Uptown Columbus and The Sweetwater Brewing Company. The event also features live music and SweetWater beer on the banks of the Chattahoochee River. 10th Annual Comedy Night

On August 6, 2015 at 7:00 p.m., the 10th Annual Comedy Night with Mark Lowry and Stan Whitmire will begin. Enjoy stories, comedy and music. Proceeds benefit the SOWEGA Council on Aging Meals on Wheels program. The event will be held at the Albany Municipal Auditorium, 200 North Jackson, Albany, Georgia, 31701.
