Celebrate Oktoberfest in Atlanta

Celebrate German culture in Atlanta this October with local Oktoberfest celebrations. You don’t have to be German to enjoy the good times, good food, and better beer!

Official Oktoberfest of Atlanta

On Saturday, October 15, check out Atlanta’s official yearly Oktoberfest, which runs from 1:00pm to 7:oopm. Billed as Atlanta’s biggest German-themed party, visitors can enjoy a variety of cold beers, German cuisine, live polka music, and plenty of games, activities, and contests (like Giant Jenga, Super-sized Connect Four, cornhole, and ladder ball).

General admission costs $15 and includes entry, a souvenir 22 oz beer stein, and your first beverage free of charge.

VIP admission is available for $60 and includes the souvenir 22 oz beer stein, four complimentary beers, a commemorative t-shirt, complimentary meal voucher, and access to the VIP area with preferred seating and the VIP beer line.

Celebrate Oktoberfest at Der Biergarten Restaurant

If you can’t make it out on October 15, celebrate German heritage in Atlanta at Der Biergarten’s annual and authentic Oktoberfest.

Starting September 17 and running through October 22, Der Biergarten brings even more Bavarian culture to their restaurant. Featuring plenty of good beer, good food, and great live music, this Oktoberfest is a celebration for everyone — not just those with German surnames.

Head to 300 Marietta Street NW. Enjoy the traditional tapping of the keg every Saturday night at 6:30.
