Oh, the irony...

Okay,  I wasn’t the most inventive in titling this post, but you are reading this, so I must have caught your attention. Let’s cut to the chase. The Flat tire. You hate it. I hate it. It does nothing but waste time and expose us to dangerous Atlanta traffic. At Southtowne, our service guys can change tires in their sleep. However, you do have the luxury of  having an enclosed space, or modern pneumatic lug guns to get that flat off your Atlanta Buick, GMC, Chevrolet or Cadillac, while on the side of the road.

At least one time in your driving career, you are going to have to deal with a flat. Regardless if you are in a parking lot on the side of the road, you will want to know how to make the change quickly and with as little effort as possible. If you are on the shoulder in busy traffic, safety is going to be a major concern, so you’ll want to really have this down.

Watch the video a few times and go out and practice once during the weekend. Knowing is half the battle.

If you think you may have a tire issue: a small leak, a bubble or if you see the tread separating, bring it by Southtowne immediately and we’ll fix your issue. We’ll even show you how to change it for future reference.

Here’s an additional point of note to remember. Fact: riding on an under-inflated or flat tire will not only destroy the tire, but you can dent rims, get poorer gas mileage, decrease braking ability, impair handling and possibly cause or be involved in a accident.

See the Southtowne General Motors Superstore if you thing you may have a tire issue.
