Georgia: How Do You Remove a Rusty Bolt

How terrible would it be to get a flat tire, while running late for an important meeting, in a part of town you’ve never been to, only to find out that one of the bolts on your wheels has bonded to the rim due to rust? On a scale from 1 to 10 I’m going to say that is a 10.

Hopefully, your new car has no rusty bolts, but there might come a time when it will. When it does, you need to know the best way to get that bolt removed without causing damage to your rims. I found a video that might be helpful in this situation.

Don’t have a propane torch? Try this.

I heard Coca-Cola could also be used to eat away the rust, but I’m not too sure about this one. Has anyone ever heard that? Let me know if you have…I’m curious.
