American Craft Council Show

The Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta will be hosting the American Craft Council Show, a three-day celebration of handmade items. Over 225 of the country’s contemporary craft artists will be at the show with clothing, jewelry, home décor and furniture. The show is in its 26th year and it draws thousands of visitors. American Frontier Days

Head over to FD Roosevelt State Park, Pine Mountain for the weekend of Mar. 13, 2015 to learn more about history from 1730 to 1880. Learn about blacksmithing, colonial cooking and more. You’ll also learn about the Lewis and Clark Expedition, the Revolutionary War, Native Americans, mountain men and more. Throw knives and tomahawks. Admission is free and parking is $5. Superhero Day

Visit the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta on Mar. 7, 2015 dressed as your favorite superhero. Kids 12 and under who visit dressed up get in to all of the aquarium galleries free as long as a paying adult accompanies them. The aquarium is open from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and special activities will take place from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. If you have an annual pass, the event is free.
