Newnan Events – April

April is here, and your Atlanta Cadillac dealer, Southtowne, invites you to enjoy some of the events scheduled in the Newnan area. Get out in your new car and participate in these community events.

Romeo and Juliet will be performed on April 11th at the Newnan Center for Performing and Visual Arts at 1523 Lower Fayetteville Road. The performance gets underway at 7:30pm.

There is a new event scheduled for April 13th at the Coweta County Fairgrounds at 275 Pine Road in Newnan. The event is called R.A.C.E. for the Orphans 5K and it gets underway at 7:30am. This inaugural R.A.C.E. for the Orphans hopes to raise funds for the adoption expenses of Jason and Kelly Preston’s daughter from China. Organizers are hoping the event will become an annual way to help fund adoptions in our community.

April 14th is the “Ride for the River”. There are several routes available for riders with all routes beginning and ending at the Coweta County Fairgrounds. Registration is at 8am and riders may choose from a 14 mile ride, 30 mile ride, 60 mile ride or a 104 mile ride. Proceeds benefit The Brown’s Mill Battlefield Association, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. For more information you can call Carolyn at 770-253-8264, or Pat at 770-253-6839.

A “Taste of Newnan” is set for April 18th from 5-8:30pm. The information tent will be located in front of the Carnegie Library at Jackson Street & West Broad Street. There you will find maps with vendor locations and other information about the event. Those of us at Southtowne are pleased to be a sponsor of this great event. There is plenty of parking throughout downtown and we look forward to seeing you there!

If you are getting a little spring fever, Southtowne, your source for new and used cars, invites you to get out and enjoy your community. If the warmer temperatures have you thinking about a new or used vehicle, we invite you to come see us at Southtowne!
