October Events in Newnan

Fall is finally here. As things cool down outside, the crispness in the air may make you want to take your family and friends to an event or two. Friday Movie Night at Powell Library

Get in the Halloween spirit by kicking off your weekend with the favorite kid-friendly spooky movie, Frankenweenie. This is the story of a boy who brings his beloved dog back from the dead using the powers of science. Frankenweenie will be shown Friday, October 10 at 4pm. There is no admission charged for this event. Light refreshments will be served as well.

13 Stories Haunted House

This thrilling and chilling spooktacular event is held nightly throughout October from 7:30pm to 10pm only in Newnan, GA. Are you brave enough to face your deepest fears? If so, the halls of the legendary 13 Stories Haunted House await you. Come face-to-face with the twisted dentist, spiders, snakes and more. This haunted attraction isn’t for the weak of heart. Ticket prices range from $25 to $75 depending on the package desired and age.

This event is located right in the heart of Downtown Newnan. Join in on the celebration of this festive seasons on October 17 from 5pm until 9pm. Downtown merchants will have the season’s best beer selection available for sampling. Each location will host a different beer for your enjoyment, from microbreweries to imports. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $20 or at the door for $25. The price of the ticket includes a beer guide along with a commemorative beer glass.

Munchkin Masquerade

The City of Newnan invites you to bring your little one out to Downtown on the morning of Halloween from 10am until Noon. At this time, all participating businesses will be passing out candy for trick-or-treaters. This event is free for everyone to attend and is a great alternative to traditional trick-or-treating.
