Der Biergarten

Celebrate Oktoberfest through October 31 with Der Biergarten, 300 Marietta Street NW, Atlanta, Georgia, 30313. If you want to see the traditional tapping of the keg, visit any Saturday through the end of October at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy live music from Die Kurtzbaum and The Bavarian Express, German Oom-pah bands. They will play on select Saturdays from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. DJ Johnny spins from 9:00 p.m. until midnight every Saturday.

Special events include a pig roast on September 26, Oktoberfest 5K on October 10 at 8:00a.m., and another pig roast on October 17. For reservations, call (404) 521-2728.

HDI Atlanta Oktoberfest

This year’s fundraiser Oktoberfest will be held on October 20, 2015 at Monday Night Brewing, 670 Trabert Ave NW in Atlanta. Admission is $15 per person and that includes two raffle tickets, beer tastings, a souvenir pint glass and a brewery tour.

Helen Oktoberfest

Head to this alpine village in the Southern Appalachian Mountains in North Georgia. Enjoy shopping, luxury mountain accommodations, cobblestone alleys, dancing, German music, drinks and food. Thousands from around the world attend the event because of its authentic atmosphere. The Helen Oktoberfest is located at 1074 Edelweisse Strasse, Helen, Georgia, 30571 from September 10 through November 1, 2015.
