S’more Recipes

Everyone loves the classic S’mores campfire treat. There’s something about the warm, gooey marshmallow and melted chocolate sandwiched between two toasty graham crackers that leaves you feeling nostalgic. If you feel you’ve outgrown the classic S’mores, why not try a twist on the recipe? Your Newnan car dealer has a few for you to try.

Chocolate and Peanut Butter Lovers S’mores

Using creamy peanut butter, spread 1 tablespoon onto a thin Nabisco Chocolate wafer. It’s better to use the peanut butter at room temperature so it’s easiest to work with. Roast a jumbo marshmallow over the campfire until golden brown and slide it onto your peanut buttered wafer. Top with second wafer and smoosh together gently.

We all have been there before. Finally getting to the campsite, unloading and going to get the campfire started, but then the weather kicks up and it starts to rain. Have no fear, you can still enjoy a delicious s’mores treat mason jar style if you’re traveling with your RV. Just follow this easy recipe for a family of four.

Mason Jar S’mores

  • 4 tablespoons graham crackers crumbs
  • 1 pack of 4 chocolate puddings
  • Marshmallow fluff
  • Four small 4 ounce mason jars

In each mason jar, add one tablespoon of graham cracker crumbs. Open chocolate pudding cups and add contents to the jars. Top the pudding with marshmallow fluff making sure to cover the pudding with enough to reach the top. Using your RV’s oven, do a quick broil so your marshmallow fluff starts to turn brown. Have the kids pick out their favorite movie, sit down and enjoy your s’mores in a jar together as a family.

Salted Carmel Bacon S’mores

  • Graham crackers
  • Bacon
  • Jumbo marshmallows
  • Carmel ghirardelli squares

Over a campfire in a skillet, cook your bacon until its extra crispy. Lay them on paper towels to let the grease run off. Now roast your marshmallow to your liking. Once finished, open a ghirardelli caramel square and place on a graham cracker. Add the crispy bacon and now you’re ready for the marshmallow. Slide it onto the graham cracker and gently press it all together. Now you’re ready to tantalize your taste buds with a sweet and salty combination that will have you cooking another one in moments.

We hope you enjoy these tasty versions from your friends at SouthTowne Motors.
