St. Patrick’s Day Events


Celebrate the upcoming holiday with a variety of activities. There are a plethora of them going on around town that you can get into this coming weekend. Enjoy these fun Saint Patrick’s Day events provided by your friends at Southtowne Motors.

St. Patrick’s Parade 5K Run/Walk

Join fellow racers on Saturday, March 14, 2015 in Midtown. Registration is $35 per adult, $20 per child and opens at 8am along with packet pickup for those who have pre-registered. The 5K begins at 10am. Children can also receive free face painting before the St. Patrick’s Day parade. Awards will be given to both the top 25 males and females. Winners will additionally be allowed to ride on the float in the Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Come celebrate this historic parade in Atlanta for their 130th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. It will be held at the intersection of Peachtree and continue to the intersection of 5th Street. More than 2,000 musicians, cheerleaders, dancers and more will parade through the route bringing the luck of the Irish. This parade incudes the world’s largest Irish “walking flag”, which is a large flag held by several dozen participants.

Atlantic Station

After the fun parade, head over to Shamrock Station. This is a family friendly event that starts at 2pm. Central park will be hosting a variety of interactive activities including sand art, cookies, face painting and more. DJ Pat O’brien along with Two Pipers with a Snare Drummer will be playing Irish-themed music. There will also be dancers from the Mulligan School of Irish Dance performing for your entertainment.


Presented by Social Mess, this Irish-inspired event attracts over 4,000 people yearly and will be taking over Park Tavern on March 14. There will be two stages featuring entertainment by DJ EU, DJ Speakerfoxx, Jacob &the Good People, and more. The Spring Break Stage will be oozing with funny antics that unfold all day.
