Bring your guitar and get ready to have some fun. Beginning January 4 and running through the 18, the Newnan Historic Courthouse will be hosting Pickin’ On the Square every day at 11am. All musicians are welcome to come and play regardless of what skill level you are. The only requirement we ask is that you stick to acoustic for this event.

It’s that time again to get your GMC truck ready to go for the Atlanta Boat Show, which runs January 9-12. This year promises to be the best year yet. Bring the family and watch the all new Swampmaster Gator Show. There will be laughter and thrills along with action-packed fun for the family. Watch as swampmaster Jeff Quattrocchi catches and handles a wild gator. This is a rare opportunity to see a wild alligator up close. After the show, you will get the chance to hold a baby gator and have your picture taken with it. And rest assured, every step is being taken to keep your (and the gator’s) safety in mind. No alligators will be harmed in the performance.

That’s not all that’s new at the Atlanta Boat Show this year. There is also the New Rockin’ Rollin’ Bubbles. This is the craziest water walking event ever. Climb inside a giant hamster ball and run full-speed across the water. This is a new kind of fun that you’ve never imagined. The best part is you can even run with a friend or family member. So mom and dad, get your cameras ready. There are sure to be plenty of photo opportunities.

If you’re looking for a great way to introduce the kids to fishing, try the Let’s Go Fishing Center. There is a specially designed catch and release trout pond. This is a great to get your kids exciting about fishing. Be sure to have your camera handy when your little angler lands his or her first big fish. Hourly seminars will also be hosted by Ken Sturdivant and other top guides. This is a great time to see what’s new and to improve your knowledge along with honing your fishing skills.

Be sure to keep safety first and have a blast attending these family-fun events near SouthTowne Motors!
