The New 2014 Impala

If you’re looking for a hot new twist on a classic car, look no further than the 2014 Chevy Impala. The Impala is as much a part of American culture as any car, really. Yes, everyone always wanted to drive away from their Chevy dealer with a Corvette or a Camaro, but every family actually owned an Impala at some point, and they were usually very happy with it. The new Impala takes the affordability and dependability of the classic Impala and adds the flash of a sports car and the elegance of a modern luxury sedan.

The bold look of the 2014 Impala will catch your eye right away, and form and function combine perfectly to provide a smooth ride, thanks in part to the aerodynamic design. This premium sedan has a very unique shape, including a powerdome hood, stylish roof line and wide grill.

This vehicle is not all about looks, though. You’ll turn plenty of heads when people hear Impala’s 305 hp, 3.6 L V6 engine roaring out of the lot of your Atlanta Chevy dealer. The direct fuel injection technology and variable valve tuning provide instant response and maximum torque while still allowing an impressive 29 MPG highway gas mileage, as estimated by the EPA. The car has a tight steering radius and smooth handling, too, to keep all that power under control.

Just to prove that this is not your grandpa’s old Impala, the 2014 version is decked out with a space age dual cockpit design and cutting edge options like an 8 inch color touch screen which features the interactive driver information system. There is hidden storage behind the screen with a USB port to store a cell phone or MP3 player. Some other high tech options include adaptive cruise control which uses radar to sense other vehicles and adjust speed accordingly. Those same radar sensors can be used to warn a driver of collision threats in front, behind, or even in blind spots.

The Impala is, at its heart, a luxury sedan, and with available burnished wood grain trim and chrome accents, it certainly looks the part inside. Whether you’re looking at the sueded microfiber, the French stitching or the leather-appointed surfaces, interior says “Class.” For even more comfort, you can get ventilated and heated front seats or a heated steering wheel.

The bottom line? The 2014 Chevy Impala is a whole lot of car. Beautiful, elegant, powerful, and Chevy through and through. But don’t take my word for it–go see your Chevy dealer and take one for a test drive.
